There is nothing wrong with the Tesla Model 3.

No grill is fine as long as white space isn’t added in the form of a grill. It is like putting a door frame on the wall of a house and filling it with bricks.

Except for the fact that it looks like it would have had a grille except they took it off last minute and just left it looking as boring as the back of a second gen American Focus.

But how moany of those have a big V8 to keep cool? Or an engine in front?

Tatra has a V8, Citroen is Front engined.

So one of each. But it was more of a rhetorical question. I’m more impressed when a car that you would think would need a lot of air flow up front can do away with a grille. Bonus points for making it look good.

No Citroen SM. I’ve added one below.
And don’t forget the lovely VW Thing or the Fiat Jolly
There’s also so many others. Like the Amphicar 770.

All the cars you pictured though have a external bumper to break up the front. And their headlights aren’t so high and spaced apart. Those are the reasons the Tesla design doesn’t work.

Difference of opinion. All your examples look like they were designed to always look that way. The Model 3 looks like it should have a grill but it was a extra cost option the buyer didn’t want to fork over for - sort of like those blank spacers they use to fill in for a missing knob or switch when you don’t go for the optional what ever.
